A bride recently contacted me asking to help her find the perfect wedding shoes. I really enjoyed the experience and was inspired to create a list of my favorite brands & styles. Now, I’m also a fiancée and can’t wait to pick out my wedding shoes!
- Follow the fit guide. Unfortunately not every web site has a size guide so order your shoes early in case you need to exchange sizes.
- Wear them several times before to break them in. My worst nightmare is wearing painful shoes down the aisle!
- Consider choosing an untraditional color or print. Even though white shoes are trendy right now for everyday wear, choosing something like a leopard print wedding shoe is spicy, plus, you can wear them over & over again.
9 I love right now:
Christian Louboutin is one of the most famous shoemakers, the signature red soles are a special choice and perfect for wedding day.
Kim Kardashian wore multiple pairs of Giuseppe Zanotti’s heels at her wedding. Zanotti’s collections seem to get bigger every season which means a better selection of shoes that work as bridal shoes:
Brian Atwood’s most popular design, the Maniac pump, is continuously seen all over the red carpet & available in many different colors & textures right now.
Casadei’s new Spring 2012 collection debuted a new platform pump that has already been spotted on Sofia Vergara. I’m a big fan of Casadei’s heels and any of these designs below are beautiful wedding shoes.
Jimmy Choo has one of the largest selection of bridal shoes. The shoes feature crystal embellishment, glitter and glitter fabrics.
Sergio Rossi is a unique and beautiful bridal choice. The Italian designer loves using crystals and has created a signature scalloped style.
Charlotte Olympia just launched her first bridal collection, Runaway Bride this year. It’s a playful, adorable collection. I’ve also read in several different interviews with that the designer, Charlotte Dellal wore leopard print pumps to her own wedding.
Other wedding shoes I like for Fall 2012:
