Shoes She Should Have Worn: Beyoncé

Yesterday I received a press email saying Beyoncé wore one of my favorite Elie Saab dresses to the RocNation Pre-Grammy Brunch. It’s from the Spring 2013 RTW collection featuring a long sleeve v-neck and bold abstract print. Although she skipped the red carpet, luckily we caught a glimpse of her full look when Solange Knowles tweeted a photo.

I loved Beyoncé’s hair, dress and Reece Hudson Bondage bag but was surprised to see her Louis Vuitton footwear choice. She wore the Florida blue satin platform sandals from the Cruise 2013 collection with a yellow lucite acrylic sculpted heel. These shoes were last spotted on Naomi Watts and worked with blue gown however they’re too mod for Beyoncé’s dress.

Elie Saab two-tone pink leather t-strap sandal; from the Spring 2013 collection
Her dress was presented on the runway with a hot pink t-strap and this shoe would have been an obvious but beautiful choice.

Nicholas Kirkwood mesh bootie; available at Bergdorf Goodman
These booties are from the Spring 2013 collection with a sheer mesh upper and black suede/glitter trim.

Tom Ford black croc & leather t-strap sandal; from the Spring 2012 collection
This collection had several covetable designs and she also wore a sculpted wedge from the same season last year in Paris.

Christian Louboutin Pigalle in neon pink patent leather; available at Barneys
Beyoncé wore a nude Pigalle to Art Basel in Miami and I liked the 4″ heel style on her. Plus, this rose matador fluorescent pink shade is perfect.

Gianvito Rossi pointed-toe pump; available at LuisaViaRoma
This is a new aqua color for spring/summer featuring nappa leather and 4.3″ stiletto heel.

Brian Atwood Alisée pink snakeskin sandal; from the Spring 2013 collection
