Kristen Wiig wore Alejandro IngelmoTron pumps to a screening of ‘Hateship Loveship’ held at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. They’re from the Spring 2014 collection featuring black leather, metallic gold leather toe panels and 100mm heel. Tron is available in black & mint leather at Saks Fifth Avenue and Alejandro Ingelmo.
She coordinated with costar Sami Gayle wearing a J. Mendel crew neck dress with a black bonded bodice, leather waist band and draped asymmetric skirt from the Fall 2014 collection.
Kristen debuted a strawberry blonde hair color which she complemented with a dark red lip and subtle bronze eye makeup. She also accessorized with a Fenton finger cuff and gold bangle by Fred Leighton.
Culebra is a two-tone ankle-tie sandal with a little something extra. They’re from the Spring/Summer 2014 collection designed in black leather with a round tapered toe, sleek stiletto heel, nude leather insole and black leather front ankle-tie. The standout features are added with a beautiful gold mirrored leather accent trim (or rose gold with the nude leather style) and geometric cutout leather ankle-wrap. We’ve also seen Kat Graham wear the embellished style from the Evening collection at a recent NYFW show. Half sizes are available.
With his button-up shirt rolled to the elbows and his sleeve tattoo peeking out from beneath the haphazard folds, Alejandro Ingelmo doesn’t exactly scream “luxury footwear designer.” However, looks can be deceiving – Alejandro Ingelmo is a fourth generation shoe designer born and raised in Miami who has found his calling in making seductive pumps that women will be reaching for season after season. Parsons educated and New York based, his brand has been on a sky high trajectory since his womenswear collection debut in 2006.
One look at his sexy, eye-catching designs erases any question as to why his success has been so monumental. We’re in love with the neutral tones he regularly pairs with metallic leather, but this season the addition of color makes the collection more vibrant than ever. Vivacious orange snakeskin paired with gold and rose gold, minty blue-green offset by glimmering gold, and fuchsia paired with gunmetal are just a few of the combinations that have us double taking. It isn’t any wonder that he’s caught the attention of flashy songstresses like Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Nicki Minaj.
Not only does the delectable color palette have us coming back for more, the geometric twists of the Odyssey, Boomerang, Franca, and Circe designs need to be seen to be believed. Each and every shoe is masterfully crafted with an energetic and fierce flair. Additionally, Sophia Webster isn’t the only designer inspired by the glamor of the butterfly, as Alejandro Ingelmo’s Mariposa heels channel the delicate curves of a butterfly’s wings while a single leather lace and dramatic form elevate it to show stopping proportions.
If you’re not into racy five inch stilettos, he notably has created a selection of flats that channel his strong aesthetic without the heel. Having also designed shoes for Jen Kao, Cushnie et Ochs, Helmut Lang, Roksanda Ilinic and Kimberly Ovitz, chances are you’ve been drooling over his designs without even realizing it!
It isn’t all pumps and high-heeled wonders, though. Alejandro Ingelmo also curates a top-of-the-line sneaker collection for men, most known for his crazy cool and futuristic Tron sneaker.
His designs have been spotted on Stacy Keibler, Miley Cyrus, Cara Delevingne, Janelle Monae, Hilary Duff, Justin Timberlake, and even Robert Downey Jr.! Stars gravitate to his designs because they combine architecture with a hint (or a large handful) of sparkle, creating statement making soles that are as stylish as they are striking. Luckily for us, even if we aren’t covering issues of Vogue or topping musical charts, we can own a pair of Alejando Ingelmo’s fabulous shoes. That’s just as good, right?

It’s become tradition – every season I enjoy looking through the Accessories Index at Style.com and selecting my top 10 shoe picks.
First, these are market director Marina Larroudé’s top choices:
Here are my top picks:
I would love to know what’s on your must-have list. Sophia Webster’s embroidered boot is such a standout! Another easy addition to my list was the crystal-embellished sandal by Tabitha Simmons – it’s so stunning. Not surprisingly, Ms.Olivia Palermo has already snatched up & worn the beautiful Aquazzura Madison feather pumps.

I’ve been collecting lookbooks and making notes of trends all summer – a giant fall trends post is coming up next.
I’m also working on a personal post of the shoes I’ve been wearing recently & I promise it will be posted soon. X

These caged slingback heels are from the Spring 2013 collection featuring black suede and metallic gold leather details. Collider is available online in black/gold at Bloomingdales, white/silver at Shopbop and several styles at Alejandro Ingelmo.
Stacy Keibler wore Alejandro IngelmoAthena d’Orsay pumps to 2013 A&E Networks Upfront. These shoes are from the Spring 2013 collection featuring ice white patent leather, 100mm heel and open criss cross heel detail. Ingelmo’s Spring 2013 collection is one of his best yet. This slingback is the Monica slingback featuring aqua suede, round toe and mirrored silver patent leather slingback strap. Half sizes are available. You can also find Monica in taupe at Alejandro Ingelmo.
This collection hits several Spring 2013 shoe trends (writing a post on this later today). I absolutely love the direction Ingelmo went this season. There’s lot of lattice design, strappy straps and bright, fun colors. Materials include iridescent snakeskin, metallic patent leather, leather and suede.
These shoes look like celebrity candy to me and I hope we see more of his designs on the red carpet. I’ll definitely be purchasing one of these styles…my top 3 favorites are the Boomerang, Collider and Athena.
Nicole Scherzinger was spotted wearing Alejandro Ingelmo Crosby wedges outside the ITV Studios in London. These heels are from the Spring 2012 collection featuring woven leather and hidden platform. You can find the new Crosby wedge from the Fall 2012 collection available online at Shopbop.
I really like her dark grey tweed Sandro Charcoal blouse and matching shorts however I’m baffled by the shoe choice. They’re much too heavy for this outfit and a completely different style all together. Nicole’s currently a judge on the ‘The X Factor’ UK show. Check out a preview of Alejandro Ingelmo’s Spring 2013 collection at Elyse Walker and more shoes spotted on Nicole.
