Alexander McQueen laser cut peep-toe pump | 5.5″ heel & 1.25″ platform | buy online at SSENSE for $1270

We first saw these pumps on Jessica Chastain at the ELLE Style Awards in February and they’ve finally appeared online. They’re from the Spring 2012 collection featuring laser cut black patent leather over lace, adjustable ankle-strap, double platform and available in whole sizes.

This a section I’ve been wanting to start for awhile. Since I look at shoes all day everyday, I thought it would be fun to put together 5-10 new arrivals every Tuesday.

Megan Fox wore an embellished Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture dress to a screening of “Friends With Kids” in NYC. She paired it with one of the heaviest pumps in her closet, the Yves Saint Laurent Tribtoo cap-toe pumps. Her shoe choice completely threw off the whole look for me; she needed a delicate sandal or pump.

Shoes She Should Have Worn: Megan Fox

Shoes-She-Should-Have-Worn-Megan-Fox

Alexander McQueen crystal embellished satin sandal; available at Net-A-Porter
I know Megan’s dress is already completely embellished but I had to add these to the list; they’re stunning.

Prada nude simple leather sandal; available online at Bergdorf Goodman & in rose gold at Neiman Marcus
This sandal is a spring staple; the nude color is already almost sold out! I also recommended it to Leighton and featured it in the minimalistic post

Alaïa double ankle-strap sandal; available online at Edon Manor
We recently saw these on Olivia Palermo in ELLE Ukraine. These sandals complement Megan’s nude bow belt too.

Tabitha Simmons Dana suede strappy sandal
We’ve seen these on Jennifer Aniston & I also recommended them to Kristen Bell. They’re from the Spring 2011 collection & I’m attached to them on many levels; it’s hard to find a delicate, soft, blush colored sandal.

Jerome C. Rousseau satin Aizza pump; available online in black glitter at Farfetch and in silver glitter at Otte.
The satin Aizza is the only pump I would pair with Megan’s dress. We’ve seen the satin version on Julia Stiles and recently in glitter on Emmy Rossum.

Which shoes would you pick for Megan? Check out more Shoes She Should Have Worn posts.

Alexander-McQueen-Spring-2012-snakeskin-pump

Alexander McQueen snakeskin platform pump | 4.5″ heel & 1″ platform | available online at LuisaViaRoma for $1230

This pump features python paneled with olive green water snake, a low-dipped vamp, nairobi hand painted horn heel, leather innersole and scalloped sides. I wish they made this closed-toe version in the orange/coral color (only made it in a peep-toe); something about the peep-toe looks strange to me.

Mila-Kunis-Alexander-Mcqueen-Heels

Mila Kunis is featured in the April 2012 issue of Harper’s Bazaar wearing Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 organza platform wedges. These heels are from the Spring 2012 collection and have also been spotted on Florence Welch. This picture reminds me of the older Miss Dior ad which is appropriate since Mila is the new face of Dior. Check out more pictures from her photo shoot other shoes spotted on Mila.

Florence Welch wore Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 organza platform wedges to the Universal BRITS after party in London. Florence wore three different McQueen looks that evening and this was second amazing shoe choice; the first being the sculpted wedges she wore on the red carpet. These organza embellished wedges are my favorite shoe from the Spring 2012 collection; they’re the most romantic and feminine design. Check out more shoes spotted on Florence.

Florence Welch wore Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 platform sculpted wedges to the 2012 Brit Awards. There are similar sculpted wedges from the same collection available online at Bergdorf Goodman. Naomi Campbell was recently featured in Harper’s Bazaar wearing a taller version of these wedges. Florence rocked not one but three different McQueen Spring 2012 looks last night!
