Manolo didn’t have as many collaborations in London as he did in New York, I count 5 total including the flat sandals he designed for Richard Nicoll. I always look forward to the Antonio Berardi collaboration and this time we saw blue & tan leather strappy heels.

I wasn’t crazy about Louboutin’s designs at NYFW since many of them were styles seen from previous collections, however, London was another story! My favorite shoes are the heels seen on Mary Katrantzou’s runway. We did see one style, the Crazy Fur pump, which debuted in the Fall/Winter 2012 collection redesigned into lighter colors for Spring in Michael van der Ham’s collection.

Nicholas Kirkwood
You never know what to expect from Kirkwood’s collaborations, the designs are always so different every season. For Spring 2013 he created a chunky t-strap platform for Erdem featuring metallic leather, python and floral print. The Peter Pilotto sandals have received a lot of attention and were named ‘Accessory of the Day’ on WWD. He mixed digital baroque-style prints with black & white woven leather, patent leather and completely beaded laces.

Kirkwood’s heels were also seen on the Jean Pierre-Braganza runway along with Alejandro Ingelmo.

Matthew Williamson
To celebrate the brand’s 15 anniversary, Williamson debuted a signature footwear line in collaboration with shoe designer Joanne Stoker. These heels feature heavy embellishment and fun sculpted, wavy platforms. The shoe line is set to hit stores next summer.

Charlotte Olympia
This season Charlotte Olympia designed the Serena sandal in many different colors & textures for the Temperley London Spring 2013 collection. We first saw this sandal in Olympia’s Spring 2012 Siren collection. You can find the Serena available in white satin from the Runaway Bride collection online at Charlotte Olympia.

How cute! The printed floral printed silk reminds me of Tabitha Simmons’ designs. These sandals feature small flower studs, leather edges and a flower buckle.

  1. LOL @ the feet…I really like a lot of Manolo’s designs. I’m glad he is making a come back. I still think he needs to grow up when it comes to those smart comments

Louboutin, I agree with you(I seem to do that a lot) about NY a bit dry. London was Nice and I’m dying to see Paris.
