For this collection Creative Director Francesco Russo was inspired by the modern designs of Ettore Sottsass from The Memphis Group and the work of decorator & architect, Carlo Bugatti.
The shoes feature combinations of bold color, geometric motifs, woven leather inserts with three-dimensional texture and form graphic elements on heels, soles, and straps. Metallic surfaces break up the dizzying color combinations and there’s also patent leather embellished with crystals.
Francesco Russo choose Drake Doremus to direct a film for this collection. It portrays a woman who restlessly wanders through a forest still lit by the last warm rays of the summer sun, with just a map.
Sergio Rossi also just relaunched their web site. It’s a serious upgrade! You can easily view collections and shop online.
