Prada Spring 2011 Shoes

Prada’s Spring 2011 RTW runway shoes were all about checkers, stripes and scrolls. Miuccia Prada described the collection as “minimal baroque”. The cutout platform oxford sandal speaks more modern baroque to me with the beautiful scroll detailing accented by a multicolored rubber striped sole. The collection also featured striped Mary Jane pumps, woven platform sandals and metallic accents.

Blake Lively was spotted in the Derek Lam lace up oxford pumps on the set of Gossip Girl. You can find these pumps at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Sergio Rossi Resort 2011 Collection

Sergio Rossi’s resort 2011 collection is a perfect balance of color, substance and detail necessary for the summer season. The collection features many styles such as pumps, wedges, platforms, sandals, and even a loafer. One of my favorite pieces from the fall collection was the cutout gladiator sandal and there is a similar cousin to it in this collection except in a wedge form. This collection is candy for the feet and full of embellishments such as buckles, straps, gems and rivets.
