Kristen Stewart wore Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps to the ‘Clouds of Sils Maria’ premiere during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. They’re from the Spring 2014 collection (named after Kate Moss) featuring glossy nude patent leather and 120mm high heel. She’s also previously worn them in black patent leather. So Kate is currently available in nude patent leather at Neiman Marcus, black/nude/red leather or striped calf hair at Saks Fifth Avenue and several other styles at Christian Louboutin.

I was hoping she would debut the newest Fall 2014 Pigalle Follies pumps but the SK pumps work too :). Instead of the typical (and expected) glamorous ball gown, Kristen opted for a sleeveless athletic-inspired jumpsuit completely covered in opalescent sequin embroidery with a button up back and horizontal stripe sequin cuffed trousers from Chanel’s Spring 2014 Haute Couture collection.

She also added Chanel Fine Jewelry including a Plume de Chanel bracelet (totaling 24.2 carats of diamonds!). With her fiery copper hair styled in side-parted waves, she put the finishing touches on the look with complementary silvery-purple smoky eye makeup.

This week Marion Cotillard attended the premiere of her latest film, ‘Two Days, One Night’ during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. As a veteran ambassador of Dior, she wore the brand head-to-toe including an off-white pleated silk sleeveless dress with a high-low hem from the Spring 2014 Couture collection.

These fresh-off-the-runway Resort 2015 wrap booties might have worked for a photo call but they’re much too heavy for this ultra-glamorous red carpet premiere. I wish she had taken a shoe cue from Jessica Chastain and Rosario Dawson by selecting a memorable statement pump.

Shoes She Should Have Worn:

Stuart Weitzman Nudist ankle-strap sandal in lapis foil nappa
There’s a reason these are already the most celebrity-loved red carpet shoe of 2014, they’re the perfect strappy sandal and available in over a dozen styles.

Christian Dior Haute Couture silver buckle and cube chainmail heels rimmed with tiny roses
Marion wore these ‘modern pilgrim’ pumps to the recent Met Gala but I feel they deserve the spotlight once again. They’re exquisite and the most obvious choice as they were presented with her dress on the runway.

Nicholas Kirkwood navy satin & velvet PVC asymmetric sandals
These classic evening shoes complement the navy geometric floral appliqué and square sequin embroidery along the back of her dress.

Bionda Castana Daphne Bis white silk satin pump with a fine silver lace overlay
J’adore these romantic, feminine shoes which work with her stunning diamond encrusted oversized chain link necklace by Chopard.

Christian Louboutin tricolor Gwynitta patent leather strappy sandal
The Gwynitta is Julianne Moore’s Cannes shoe-of-choice and I would have loved to see Marion add this slight pop of teal to the mix.

Giannico Picasso pink & yellow patent leather, black satin and mirrored blue pump from the Fall 2014 collection
This is the wild card and my favorite choice for Marion. It’s easier to imagine them from this angle. I hope we see more of this burgeoning brand’s eclectic and elegant shoes on the red carpet soon.

Julianne Moore wore Christian Louboutin Gwynitta sandals to photo call for ‘Maps to the Star’ at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. They’re from the Spring 2014 collection featuring glossy nude patent leather, thin straps and 100mm heel. Gwynitta is available in several styles at Christian Louboutin or black patent & nude leather at Neiman Marcus.

She chose a fabulous Nina Ricci long sleeved silk crepe dress with a mock neck, notched cuffs and asymmetric ruching at the waist from the Fall 2014 collection. I love this shade of whisper blue paired with her auburn hair.

Julianne looked exceptionally happy at this event and styled her look with complementary dusty rose eye makeup & lip. She also accessorized with diamond jewelry by Chopard.

After her previous appearance the night before at the Global Gift Gala in Paris, Zoe made her way to the glamorous seaside festival. She looked fabulous wearing a custom Victoria Beckham white gown with a wool-blend felt sleeveless top covered in an asymmetric pleated silk design and full pleated silk skirt which had a gold chain link belt attached to the waist band.

The styling was better than ever! The end of Zoe’s silky tresses were styled in big, soft curls and she also added a pop of color with a bright red lip. Her jewelry was provided by de Grisogono including a rose gold and white diamond Onde ring plus Catene earrings.

All eyes were on Blake as she arrived to the red carpet wearing a custom Gucci Première strapless gown in bordeaux silk chiffon with a halterneck overlay, long plissé and thigh side slit.

Here’s a closer look at her stunning stack of diamond flower bracelets plus pink diamond & 25 carat ruby drop earrings by Lorraine Schwartz. With her hair pulled back in a messy braided ponytail, she put the finishing touches on the look with dark kohl-rimmed eyes.
