Sophia Webster Spring 2013 Collection

There’s been much ado about Sophia Webster ever since she debuted this Spring/Summer 2013 collection with the cutest presentation last September during London Fashion Week. Her designs are playful, whimsical and feminine with an exciting dash of Lisa Frank.

Since then, several styles have become available online exclusively at Net-A-Porter. Chloë Moretz also donned a pair of polka-dot sandals on the red carpet.

She has an impressive résumé which included working as Nicholas Kirkwood’s design assistant. Kirkwood acted as Webster’s mentor as well, helping her launch this collection.

In a recent interview with Vogue UK Sophia said, “My shoes are for women who want to express their personality through their shoes and will appreciate and enjoy them.”

Sienna Miller in Giuseppe Zanotti

Sienna Miller wore Giuseppe Zanotti ankle-wrap sandals to the Weinstein Company’s 2013 Golden Globe Awards Party. These sandals are from the Fall 2012 collection featuring metallic silver patent leather and small crystal embellishment on the straps. Unfortunately, this style is no longer available online.

The Best Actress nominee chose to wear a custom top and skirt from the Erdem Spring Summer 2013 collection featuring floral appliqué. She also accessorized with Van Cleef & Arpels Fleurette earstuds featuring diamonds set in white gold.

Nikki Reed also wore these sandals to ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ premiere in LA.

This sandal is from the Cruise 2013 collection. You may remember this style from last spring which featured a leafy green print. They feature a front strap with bow detail, island platform and transparent ankle-strap. Half sizes are available.

They’re are also avaialable in blue crêpe de Chine at Nordstrom, leopard canvas with espadrille platform at Farfetch & Charlotte Olympia or multicolor silk at Matches & Boutique 1.

Rita Ora was spotted wearing Giuseppe Zanotti t-strap sandals in the press room at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards. These sandals are from the Spring 2013 collection featuring gold tone bars on the straps, lizard-embossed black leather and black satin. They’re not yet available online.

Red was her color of the night. First she wore a Marchesa ball gown on the red carpet and later performed in a red embellished lace jumpsuit. Her final look was this Alexandre Vauthier Couture red lace suit with a plunging neckline. Rita kept the red lip throughout the show and added several gold rings.

Aquazzura Cruise 2013 Collection

I first saw this Cruise 2013 collection for pre-order on Moda Operandi this summer. This collection is beautiful and very wearable. The chic Giovanna Battaglia is a big fan of Aquazzura’s shoes and so is Nina Garcia.

What I love: the colorful snakeskin, soft suede, small laser-cut star details, string tie closures…there are many different styles I love – and want!

My favorite designs: the Amazon (can’t decide between the nude & blue), Very Sexy in blue and the Sexy Star in pink.

This gorgeous shoe is from the Peter Pilotto Fall 2012 collaboration. It features many different textures including a blue satin cap-toe, printed fabric cross-straps, black silk, blue PVC, black patent leather trim with a snap button ankle-strap and back-zip closure.

Whole sizes only. It’s also available with a black cap-toe and purple PVC at Antonioli.

Nikki Reed in Salvatore Ferragamo

Nikki Reed wore Salvatore Ferragamo lace-up sandals to ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2′ photo call in London. These heels are from the Fall 2012 collection featuring black suede and velvet ribbon laces with tassels. They’re available online at LuisaViaRoma, Zappos & Bloomingdale’s.

She wore a long sleeve Skaist-Taylor Celia black crepe dress and the Humility necklace from her new Mattlin Era jewelry collection. Nikki’s packed a great selection of shoes for this promotional tour. We’ve already seen her in Camilla Skovgaard booties and Rupert Sanderson sandals.

Ready for Resort!

I know it’s not even Halloween yet, however, Resort & Cruise 2013 styles are already rolling in! I still plan on posting many more fall styles however I wanted to feature new designs that have caught my eye.

Notes:
One of the most talked about new shoe designers, Sophia Webster, has two new styles available online at Colette. More styles (these are actually Spring 2013) are also arriving at Net-A-Porter very soon.

I seem to always love Alexander Wang’s resort shoes more than any other season…I love the red-hot croc-embossed leather.

Brian Atwood’s new TriBeCa sandal is also available in blue at Nordstrom.

In case you haven’t heard, Jimmy Choo’s cruise collection is now available for pre-order on their website and a few shoes are also at Nordstrom.

Jennifer Lopez was spotted wearing Gianvito Rossi pointed-toe pumps while leaving her hotel in Berlin. These heels are from the Fall 2012 collection featuring black suede and wide ankle wrap. They’re available online in purple & black at Barneys.

She wore these pumps with black leather leggings (ankle wrap over the leather) paired with a snake-effect leather coat. Kim Kardashian has also worn these pumps.

Jennifer’s currently on the ‘Dance Again’ world tour and performs in Antwerp tonight. Check out more shoes spotted on Jennifer.

Brian Atwood Fall 2012 Favorites

Brian Atwood has had one amazing year! Most recently he launched the new Fall 2012 ‘The Sex Is In The Heel’ campaign with Candice Swanepoel, announced the opening of his first store on Madison Avenue, launched a new web site now with an e-boutique and finally celebrated all of this success with a grand party during New York Fashion Week.

The Fall 2012 collection is lovely and there are several styles I’m coveting. Of course I want the Encanta sandal which Eva Longoria has been wearing all summer as well as the Zenith Lux pump.

Here are my top 10 favorite styles:
