Rooney Mara wore Brian Atwood Aida platform sandals to the photo call for ‘Ain’t Them Bodies Saints’ during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Both of the Mara sisters, Kate & Rooney love the Aida heels as well as Carey Mulligan. They’re from the Spring 2013 collection featuring a double platform, buckled halter strap and black satin. Aida is available onlien in black raffia & multicolored suede at Brian Atwood.

The monochrome, black & white trend has been seen at every event during this festival and Rooney also joined in by wearing a beautiful outfit by Christian Dior. She also accessorized with Carrie Hoffman Jewelry thumb and mid finger rings.

Anne Hathaway wore Valentino crystal-embellished peep-toe platform pumps to the 2013 Met Gala. These shoes feature Swarovski crystal-encrusted black satin, mesh inserts and covered platform. They’re available online in black at Saks Fifth Avenue or vintage rose (pictured above) at Neiman Marcus & Bergdorf Goodman. She also wore the same shoes to the after party as well.

On the red carpet live stream interview Anne said she joked with Valentino saying, ”Have you ever done punk, darling?”. They ended up pulling a Valentino Haute Couture gown from 1992. I love her blonde ‘do, feather cuffs, neon leopard-print nail art and Valentino Fall 2012 studded clutch.

Her Paule Ka sleeveless v-neck crepe gown looked like a simple black gown until she turned around to reveal a giant oversized satin bow. She left her hair down and accessorized with a coral lip, several diamond rings and red nails.

She also wore a cute Uli short flare tank blue velvet dress by Alice + Olivia from the Fall Winter 2012 collection. These black pumps work however I wish Sarah chose a more colorful shoe…something like these Starla pumps or Uma sandals (both new designs by Atwood) would have been a fun party choice.

I would have loved this white Spring 2013 Chloé strapless dress if she would have worn it with the adorable metallic pink runway shoes. She first wore these black pumps this past weekend and they worked much better with her Stella McCartney jumpsuit.

Other accessories included a J/Hadley blue ring Kara Ackerman Marquise rings in rose vermeil with white stones from the Talulah Collection.
