Oscar TiyeAntoinette sandals | 115mm/4.5″ heel | shop at Farfetch
We love the mix of materials used on this playful sandal from the Spring ’17 collection by Oscar Tiye. They feature a light denim pleated ruffle toe accent and cuff, black leather trim, adjustable ankle-strap, covered slim stiletto and signature magenta leather insole. Antoinette is also carried in disco silver glitter, half sizes are available.
Even more obvious than the painted cork trend, denim footwear is impossible to overlook this spring. From shoe maestro Blahnik to pacesetter , the industry brings us a playful spin on the classic jean twill.
From pumps to sandals, platforms to stilettos – each designer created a unique styles inspired by the blue Americana staple. Not only is denim is a reliable fabric perfect for everyday wear but it’s also an interestingly stylish shoe textile.
I particularly love Gianvito Rossi’s take, adding several denim designs to his spring collection which features a dark wash exaggerated with frayed patches. Both Fendi and Christian Louboutin combined a lighter shade with tropical floral printed leather. Jimmy Choo carries the most amount of denim styles this season adding a sleek contrasting black leather trim to several styles.

These fresh new heels feature dark indigo denim, dramatic high-cut collar, center-split vamp and open-toe front. A smooth leather lining is added for easy slip-on. Paired with tailored trousers at the office or midi skirts they compliment each style. Made in Italy, half sizes are available.
Resort, Cruise, Pre-Spring – whatever you call it, I like it! These inter-season styles are a welcome change after a gloomy winter filled with heavy boots. Cruise is now one the biggest and most important seasons of the year for both retailers & brands (including Chanel!).
The yummy colors are a breath of fresh air and designed for frolicking around the Caribbean or other tropical destinations. Many times I much prefer the playful cruise styles over the spring collections. This season is delicious as ever with Jimmy Choo’s pastel gelato heels and Charlotte Olympia’s Sweet Talk confectionary creations.
