Fashion month may have officially wrapped up, but we still aren’t ready to double-air-kiss goodbye the shoes we spied on the Paris catwalks. So grab a box of macarons and enjoy our little runway recap of the most stylish shoes that dazzled in the City of Light.

Oliver Rouesting successfully showed how the female lines and curves can be celebrated even while completely covered up. Legs gained extra mileage with stretch suede boots that seemingly went on forever. The stilettos boots paired with opaque tights highlighted the sexy female form, without the skin doing a peek-a-boo act.

Matching the shiny brocade jackets, lacy tops and elegant evening gowns were chic and cool lace-up ankle booties with sneaker-like gold lace holes, pumps with chunky criss-cross straps and flat boots with button and snap details at the back shaft.

Christian Dior
It was a great display of modern aesthetics on the Dior runway. Lace-up, pointed-toe boots got multiple treatments –croc and snakeskin with cut-out details make for awesome work-to-play shoes. Their ankle heel counterparts are just as fab with its laces and side strap combo. The color and print blocking action, mixing reptile prints with neutrals, make these stunning shoes a staple in your mixing and matching pursuits.

Isabel Marant
For club kids who always just want to have fun. Zebra-striped pixie booties were adorned with studs and the buckled flats were worn with matching socks for an overall boot effect that screams, 80s.

Your oversized ski jacket can now either be paired with go-go boots in your neutral color of choice, or satin pumps encrusted with sparkly accoutrements. And if you want your legs to be entirely covered in print, there are thigh-high boots for you with matching coats.

Ricardo Tisci has basically turned boots into pieces of clothing. The slender and sleek design either stopped at the knee or higher until it covered the leg like a pair of bottoms. Some sported nude toneswhile others in an edgier python print, accented with leather uppers flashing orange or gold hues. Metal heels also had a unique conical shape with graphic patterned in-lays.

It was the perfect mix of charm and chic. Low-block heels with a pointed toe in gray and white, make for the perfect professional shoe you can take to playtime as well. Leather pumps even got some leather trimmings and can definitely add a flirty and feminine touch to a power suit.

Classic and demure, feminine and fancy –fitting for the Parisian high society. Black pumps got extra strappy with its ladder-style, gladiator form. Black pointy flats were cutesy with its bow detail at the cap –we say “Oui” to its subtle and charming elegance.

An equestrian theme would of course call for bucket hats with chinstraps and of course, riding boots. These tall riding boots with a cut-out detail at the ankle sported a wingtip brogue and dainty silver eyelets. In magenta, black, denim and gold, the boots were striking contrasts to the tweed jacket and coats draped with pearls.

The shoes perfectly matched the not-so basic, neutral color palette. A play on the classics –we are treated to heeled Mary Janes and strappy slingback sandals bedazzled with tiny crystals with matching ribbed socks. Then of course, the signature Rockstud ballet flats were also updated with the same iconic strap.

Paris-Fashion-Week-Fall-2016-Louis-VuittonLouis Vuitton
The Louis Vuitton woman for fall is a heroine with style and attitude, plus a street cred to match. Nicolas Ghesquière presented lace-front combat boots in high-shine black or blue, or infused with the sporty details of kicks (now you get to know what it feels like to wear rubber shoes with heels).

Paris-Fashion-Week-Fall-2016-Miu-MiuMiu Miu
The concept of “less is more” did not exist on the Miu Miu runway. Suede boots and satin pumps were super fierce with their pin-thin heels. Even the back of the pumps were accented with bows on the back. Fur slides a.k.a. our dream bedroom slippers got a dose of sparkle, with its sprinkling of crystals and pearls. A standout piece and something worthy to be displayed inside a glass case would be the brocade pumps with a one-of-a-kind structural embellishment on the back.

About the author: zenzhu is a freelance fashion and lifestyle writer who is also a hopeless shoe-addict. He thinks her 5’4″ height and her love for long walks make her deserving of all the stilettos, pumps, sandals and ballet flats in the world. If only the cupcakes she expertly bakes can be traded in for a new pair (or two, or hopefully, more).

They’re available in a two-tone mirrored silver leather & pink silk satin (on discount!) at Yoox.

As the ambassador of Tiffany’s Atlas collection she was joined at the event by Hilary Swank wearing a Giambattista Valli strapless dress in Capodimonte white scattered with intricate floral appliqué made from silk, tulle and lace from the Meissen porcelain-inspired Fall 2013 Couture collection.

She also accessorized with a Victoria diamond necklace and Jazz three-row bracelet by Tiffany & Co. plus a Fendi bugle beaded Baguette white bag.

Claire Danes was spotted outside the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ studios wearing Christian Louboutin Décolleté 554 pumps. This style debuted in the Spring 2013 collection featuring red snakeskin and 100mm heel. Décolleté 554 is available in leopard-print pony hair at Barneys and several other styles at Christian Louboutin.

She was promoting her hit drama-thriller TV series ‘Homeland’ which is currently in the middle of Season 3. Claire arrived wearing a two-piece red outfit by Giambattista Valli including a bouclé-tweed coat and embroidered floral lace v-neck cocktail dress (in fuchsia at Saks Fifth Avenue) from the Resort 2014 collection.

She also finished her look with a Graziela Gems Grey Eyes oval gray moonstone ring and White Flower Pizza earrings.

These Fall 2013 heels feature forest green satin, gold-tone buckled straps, black patent leather ankle strap and 120mm heel. They’re available in green at Farfetch or (on sale!) in mirrored silver at Yoox.

She also wore a green leopard-print silk satin strapless dress by Dolce & Gabbana with a structured bodice and column skirt. Jessica Biel wore Giambattista Valli slingback pumps to the 2013 Met Gala in NYC. These heels are available online in metallic silver at Shopbop, metallic silver/red at Net-A-Porter & Saks Fifth Avenue, black/nude at Saks Fifth Avenue, metallic silver/nude at Shoescribe, and red satin/metallic silver at Shoescribe & Net-A-Porter.

She stuck to one of her favorites designers and her wedding dress couturier, Giambattista Valli. Although I only see a dash of punk in this gown & pant ensemble, it’s a beautiful red carpet outfit. She wore a diamond cuff by Fred Leighton and even a small nose ring! I only wish she also added statement earrings.

Lea Michele wore Giambattista Valli sandals to the 2013 Golden Globes. These strappy heels are from the Spring 2013 collection featuring white satin straps and mirrored silver patent leather. This style isn’t available online yet, however, you can find a similar sandal by Valli online at Yoox.

For this red carpet Lea wore an embellished Elie Saab Spring 2012 gown completely covered in white sequins with lace detailing. She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz emerald & diamond jewelry including statement drop earrings and bracelet.

Lea first wore these sandals to the Miss Golden Globe Awards hosted in LA. Check out more shoes spotted at the Golden Globes.

Lea Michele wore Giambattista Valli sandals to the 2013 Miss Golden Globe Awards in LA hosted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and InStyle. These heels are from the Spring 2013 collection featuring white leather straps and mirrored silver ankle-strap (ones pictured above are pink satin).

She posed in a beautiful Valentino gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit. As much as I love a blush shoe, her white choice was perfect. Actually all of her accessories were beautiful. Lea also wore Irene Neuwirth pink jewel earrings, crystal encrusted bangles and carried a metallic silver embroidered bag.

Victoria Beckham is featured in the November 2012 issue of Elle France wearing Giambattista Valli platform sandals. They’re available online in black/gold at LuisaViaRoma, black/silver at FarFetch, black/white at Saks Fifth Avenue and in black/red at Bergdorf Goodman.

This editorial was shot by Karl Lagerfeld in Coco Chanel’s famous Rue 31 Cambon Paris apartment. She’s wearing a white shirt & hair barrette by Chanel and Fendi pants.

Last week Victoria tweeted a photo of her & Karl standing on the famous staircase and she was wearing Giuseppe Zanotti platform booties. Check out more photos from her feature and other shoes spotted on Victoria.

Jaime King wore Giambattista Valli peep-toe platform wedges to the unveiling of the Lexus LX460 Sport/photo exhibit in San Francisco. These heels are from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection featuring velvet and gold crocodile-embossed leather. You can find them online in red velvet at Farfetch & Neiman Marcus and in black velvet at Saks Fifth Avenue.

She’s also wearing a Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2012 tan & red dress. In case you’re wondering (like I was) who Jaime is, she stars on ‘Hart of Dixie’ with Rachel Bilson. I’ve loved her recent red carpet style and earlier this week she wore a beautiful Stella McCartney brocade outfit. Check out more celebrity shoe spottings.
