Marion Cotillard wore Christian Louboutin Iriza Strass pumps to the premiere of ‘L’Homme qu’On Aimait Trop’ at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. They’re from the Fall 2014 collection featuring a half d’Orsay design, lichen strass and 120mm heel. You can find fall styles available at Christian Louboutin, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.

For her last red carpet appearence during the festival, she chose a beautiful Christian Dior Haute Couture accordion pleated glacier grey silk strapless dress with a layered full skirt and ruched waist.

I often find the styling for her fabulous Dior dresses pretty bland so I was excited to see Marion try something new. She also accessorized with a voluminous ponytail held back with a hair headband and jadeite bangle by Chopard.

This week Marion Cotillard attended the premiere of her latest film, ‘Two Days, One Night’ during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. As a veteran ambassador of Dior, she wore the brand head-to-toe including an off-white pleated silk sleeveless dress with a high-low hem from the Spring 2014 Couture collection.

These fresh-off-the-runway Resort 2015 wrap booties might have worked for a photo call but they’re much too heavy for this ultra-glamorous red carpet premiere. I wish she had taken a shoe cue from Jessica Chastain and Rosario Dawson by selecting a memorable statement pump.

Shoes She Should Have Worn:

Stuart Weitzman Nudist ankle-strap sandal in lapis foil nappa
There’s a reason these are already the most celebrity-loved red carpet shoe of 2014, they’re the perfect strappy sandal and available in over a dozen styles.

Christian Dior Haute Couture silver buckle and cube chainmail heels rimmed with tiny roses
Marion wore these ‘modern pilgrim’ pumps to the recent Met Gala but I feel they deserve the spotlight once again. They’re exquisite and the most obvious choice as they were presented with her dress on the runway.

Nicholas Kirkwood navy satin & velvet PVC asymmetric sandals
These classic evening shoes complement the navy geometric floral appliqué and square sequin embroidery along the back of her dress.

Bionda Castana Daphne Bis white silk satin pump with a fine silver lace overlay
J’adore these romantic, feminine shoes which work with her stunning diamond encrusted oversized chain link necklace by Chopard.

Christian Louboutin tricolor Gwynitta patent leather strappy sandal
The Gwynitta is Julianne Moore’s Cannes shoe-of-choice and I would have loved to see Marion add this slight pop of teal to the mix.

Giannico Picasso pink & yellow patent leather, black satin and mirrored blue pump from the Fall 2014 collection
This is the wild card and my favorite choice for Marion. It’s easier to imagine them from this angle. I hope we see more of this burgeoning brand’s eclectic and elegant shoes on the red carpet soon.

Marion Cotillard wore Christian Dior sculpted pumps to the premiere of ‘Waltz for Monica’ at the 2013 Marrakech International Film Festival. They’re from the Fall 2013 collection featuring black mesh, suede trim, sculpted wedge and thin asymmetrical strap. You can shop Dior styles on discount at Yoox and Bluefly.

She also wore the last look from Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall 2013 collection including a two-part dark navy silk dress layered with a striped orange & black silk evening dress.

Marion’s hair was pulled back in a chignon leaving out her brow-skimming bangs. She finished her look with a Dior Venis Blue Label 997 mani, pretty pink pout and metallic blue rimmed eyes.

Marion Cotillard wore Christian Dior pumps to the premiere of ‘Blood Ties’ at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. These heels are from the Winter 2013 collection featuring black glazed leather, 100mm heel and pale pink leather overlay at the toe & heel.

She posed wearing a navy floral lace Dior sheer dress with a short front and long train. The dress is beautiful but I have several problems with the mishmash styling. I would have preferred Marion’s midriff covered, a more feminine updo (the super sleek look is too harsh), and she absolutely needed to remove the green stingray cuff.

Marion Cotillard wore Jimmy Choo Denar sandals to a lunch hosted by Chopard during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. These shoes are from the Spring 2013 award season collection featuring nude suede, metallic gold trim and suede laces. You can shop the latest designs at Jimmy Choo & Jimmy Choo UK.

She may tie with Nicole Kidman for the most appearances during this 11-day festival. For this occasion Marion wore a frumpalicious light apricot & ecru strapless frock by Vivienne Westwood. She accessorized with a barely nude lip and arrived to the event wearing Linda Farrow Luxe 215 sunglasses.

Marion Cotillard wore Christian Dior pumps to ‘The Immigrant’ premiere at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Here’s another look at her shoes. They’re from the Spring 2013 collection featuring mirrored silver patent leather and 4.1″ heel. Unfortunately this style sold out online however you can find two other designs from the same collection at Colette.

She walked the last red carpet during this 11 day festival wearing Dior, as expected. Marion’s Pre-Fall 2013 long white crepe silk dress gave the illusion of a two-piece gown with a strapless bodice overlay and plunging cowl back. She accessorized with Chopard High Jewellery diamond creations and a side-parted sleek hairstyle finished with glamorous smooth forward rolls.

Marion Cotillard wore Christian Louboutin Fifi Strass pumps to ‘The Immigrant’ photo call held at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. These round toe pumps are covered in gold crystals with a 100mm inch heel. Fifi Strass is available online in several colors at Christian Loboutin and blue at Barneys.

I adore her Alexander McQueen ivory paneled velvet & macramé dress with flower embroidery. Before she posed for photographers, Marion arrived wearing a red coat by Antonio Berardi and Linda Farrow sunglasses.

Marion Cotillard wore Christian Louboutin Fifi Spikes pumps to the 2013 Cesar Film Awards in Paris. These pumps are from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection featuring black leather covered with silver tone spikes. Fifi Spikes is available online at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, ShopSavannahs and Christian Louboutin US.

It seems she’s walking a red carpet every other week and unfortunately I’m not crazy about this Christian Dior Couture pink strapless gown. The bodice looks too big and this up-do belongs to Keira Knightley. She also accessorized with dark maroon nails and rose lip.

We’ve last seen the Fifi Spikes on Gemma Arterton.

Marion Cotillard wore Jimmy Choo Tahi sandal booties to the 2013 Critics’ Choice Awards. These heels are from the Spring 2013 collection featuring perforated beige suede, 5″ heel and two ankle-strap closures. Tahi is available online for pre-order at Jimmy Choo.

She wore a black lace Zuhair Murad Couture dress from the Fall 2012 collection with multicolored floral appliqué. Marion’s hair was worn in a side-swept up-do and she carried a Christian Louboutin Riviera patent leather clutch.

Marion Cotillard is featured in the October 2012 issue of Marie Claire France wearing DSquared2 cage sandals. These heels are from the Fall 2012 collection featuring brown textured leather and gold buckles. You can find these sandals available online in metallic gold at Endless and in brown at FarFetch & DSquared2.

She looks beautiful in this Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2012 light blue fitted peplum sleeveless dress. Check out more of her feature in Marie Claire France and other shoes spotted on Marion.
