January Jones wore Bionda CastanaViola sandals to the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards. They’re from the new Spring 2016 collection featuring a corset style lace-up front and long, wrap-around laces. Viola is available in four variations including black, blush, metallic silver, lavender and gold at FarFetch.
The ‘Last Man on Earth’ star posed on the pretty turquoise carpet also wearing an intricately beaded, deep v-cut Pamplona dress by Altuzarra from the Spring 2016 collection.
Emily Blunt wore Christian LouboutinSalonu pointed-toe pumps to the world premiere of ‘Into the Woods’ held at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. They’re from the latest Spring 2015 collection featuring black fishnet, t-strap design, sheer nude mesh lining and black leather covered 120mm heel. Salonu is available in white at Christian Louboutin.
She looked stunning wearing this sheer pointe d’esprit dress by Dolce & Gabbana which featured a full, layered ankle-length skirt (lined from the runway version), sheer long sleeves and red carnation embroidery throughout from the Spring 2015 RTW collection.
Her magical fairytale-inspired outfit was complemented with a spicy red pout and winged eyeliner. She also polished off the look with rosecut diamond drop earrings & diamond rings by Lorraine Schwartz. Olé!
Willow Shields wore Ruthie DavisRae strappy sandals to the Hollywood premiere of ‘Maleficent’ held at the El Capitan Theatre. They’re from the Fall 2014 collection featuring rouge boheme patent leather, pony hair covered toe and iridescent leather ankle-strap covered in rose gold spikes. Until this style hits retail you can shop the latest collection at Ruthie Davis, Amazon, Neiman Marcus and FarFetch.
The 13-year-old actress (from ‘The Hunger Games’) posed on the blue carpet wearing a Mary Katrantzou Caspian Jacquard Valee dress in a beautiful dreamscape printed silk with structured cap sleeves, cropped top overlay and short collar from the Resort 2014 collection.
Willow’s look complemented the mystique of the fairytale-inspired film and I like her contrasting red shoe choice. Her (super long!) hair was pulled back in sleek ponytail and other finishing touches included dramatic cat eye makeup plus pearl earrings.
Kristen Stewart wore Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps to the ‘Clouds of Sils Maria’ premiere during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. They’re from the Spring 2014 collection (named after Kate Moss) featuring glossy nude patent leather and 120mm high heel. She’s also previously worn them in black patent leather. So Kate is currently available in nude patent leather at Neiman Marcus, black/nude/red leather or striped calf hair at Saks Fifth Avenue and several other styles at Christian Louboutin.
I was hoping she would debut the newest Fall 2014 Pigalle Follies pumps but the SK pumps work too :). Instead of the typical (and expected) glamorous ball gown, Kristen opted for a sleeveless athletic-inspired jumpsuit completely covered in opalescent sequin embroidery with a button up back and horizontal stripe sequin cuffed trousers from Chanel’s Spring 2014 Haute Couture collection.
She also added Chanel Fine Jewelry including a Plume de Chanel bracelet (totaling 24.2 carats of diamonds!). With her fiery copper hair styled in side-parted waves, she put the finishing touches on the look with complementary silvery-purple smoky eye makeup.
This week Marion Cotillard attended the premiere of her latest film, ‘Two Days, One Night’ during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. As a veteran ambassador of Dior, she wore the brand head-to-toe including an off-white pleated silk sleeveless dress with a high-low hem from the Spring 2014 Couture collection.
These fresh-off-the-runway Resort 2015 wrap booties might have worked for a photo call but they’re much too heavy for this ultra-glamorous red carpet premiere. I wish she had taken a shoe cue from Jessica Chastain and Rosario Dawson by selecting a memorable statement pump.
Shoes She Should Have Worn:
Stuart WeitzmanNudist ankle-strap sandal in lapis foil nappa There’s a reason these are already the most celebrity-loved red carpet shoe of 2014, they’re the perfect strappy sandal and available in over a dozen styles.
Christian Dior Haute Couture silver buckle and cube chainmail heels rimmed with tiny roses Marion wore these ‘modern pilgrim’ pumps to the recent Met Gala but I feel they deserve the spotlight once again. They’re exquisite and the most obvious choice as they were presented with her dress on the runway.
GiannicoPicasso pink & yellow patent leather, black satin and mirrored blue pump from the Fall 2014 collection This is the wild card and my favorite choice for Marion. It’s easier to imagine them from this angle. I hope we see more of this burgeoning brand’s eclectic and elegant shoes on the red carpet soon.
Leighton Meester wore Jimmy ChooDeny sandals to the 2014 Met Gala celebrating “Charles James: Beyond Fashion” in NYC. They’re from the 2013 Award Season collection featuring ruched nude suede straps, gold chain trim and back-zip. You can shop the latest spring & pre-fall styles at Jimmy Choo and Jimmy Choo UK.
She arrived wearing a nude tulle Emilio Pucci long-sleeve gown with a plunging neckline, wrap-effect skirt and gold Ikat embroidery throughout from the Fall 2014 collection. You may remember Cameron Diaz recently wore the mini dress version a few weeks ago.
I have mixed feelings about Leighton’s gown choice. On one hand, she went a completely opposite style direction from what everyone else was wearing which I respect (no structured ball gowns for her!) but I also feel it was a difficult dress to pull off. Plus, I’m not crazy about the draped area around her midsection.
Emmy Rossum wore Elie Saab sandals to the 2014 GLAAD Media Awards in New York City. They’re from the Spring 2014 collection featuring ribbed raspberry leather, thin ankle-strap, cutout heel detail and small platform. You can shop Elie Saab shoes at FarFetch and Boutique1.
She wore Elie Saab from head-to-toe including a beautiful sleeveless raspberry lace dress with a round neck, short full skirt, tonal sequin & bead embroidery throughout, scalloped eyelash lace trim and matching thin leather belt from the Spring 2014 Ready-to-Wear collection.
Emmy accessorized with her hair styled in a side-swept French twist plus a matching raspberry lip, ballet pink nails, vintage fuchsia, green faceted stone earrings by House of Lavande and embellished Spring 2014 minaudière also by Elie Saab.
Nicole Richie wore Jimmy ChooKalmar sandals to the 2014 AOL NewFronts event held at The Duggal Greenhouse in New York City. They’re from the Spring 2014 collection featuring black twisted rope cage design, iridescent petrol snakeskin and 125mm heel. We’ve also seen them on Tia Mowry. Kalmar is available in black at Nordstrom & Saks Fifth Avenue or gold dégradé at Jimmy Choo.
She posed on the red carpet wearing a three-quarter sleeve mini dress by Anthony Vaccarello in black suede with angled open panels, symmetric horizontal bands at the hem and oversized pale gold-tone brass bubble studs from the Spring 2014 collection.
Apparently I’m late to the game because I had no idea Nicole’s been rocking these beautiful lavender locks for several months. This “My Little Pony” hue is perfect for spring and I love how playfully she’s incorporated it with her style.
Her accessories and makeup were kept rather simple, only adding a pinky nude lip plus onyx nails.
Leslie Mann wore Oscar TiyeCleopatra sandals to ‘The Other Woman’ LA premiere held at Regency Village Theatre. They’re from the Spring 2014 collection featuring red leather, laser cut scarab design and 110mm heel. You can shop Oscar Tiye at LuisaViaRoma and The Queen.
She finished this promo tour with a bang arriving on the red carpet wearing a beautiful outfit by Monique Lhuillier. Leslie posed in Look 23 including a long bandeau bustier top in orchid silk linen and persimmon silk gazar draped ball skirt with soft pleating detail the waist & off-center front slit shows a peek of leg from the Spring 2014 collection.
