New Shoes Online This Week

Last week we saw two new arrivals from Charlotte Olympia’s debut bridal collection and two more adorable designs have become available.

Bluefly just received one of my favorite minimalistic sandals this season, it’s was hard to fnd and it’s on discount!

We seen this cuffed sandal by Casadei with crystal embellishment and now it’s also available in glitter.

Katharine McPhee wore Charlotte Olympia Feather platform sandals to NBC’s Upfront Presentation in NYC. These heels are from the Spring 2012 collection featuring feathers and a metallic gold platform. You can find a similar style online, the She Sells Sea Shells at Neiman Marcus and the Irina sandal at Nordstrom. Katharine looks beautiful in this Dolce & Gabbana floral mini dress and her wavy hair made the look for me. Check out more shoes spotted on Katharine.

New Shoes Online This Week

I’ve been wanting to feature the Kirkwood for Peter Pilotto shoes however they sell out so quickly! Another style has just appeared on FarFetch featuring a green PVC column heel.

MyTheresa has the best selection of Brian Atwood’s Maniac pump. I’ve featured the pink, teal, yellow and now this fun bubblegum shade is available.

Two designs from Charlotte Olympia’s first bridal collection are now on Net-A-Porter and they all come with cute blue stockings.

There are also many new Giuseppe Zanotti Fall 2012 styles that have just arrived which are available for pre-order at Saks Fifth Avenue (not pictured below).

Top 10 Fall 2012 Shoes

Last season I enjoyed picking out and comparing my top 10 spring 2012 shoes to the top 10 listed on Style.com. It’s still early and many of the Fall 2012 shoes in the Style.com directory (my accessories Bible along with TookLookBook) aren’t full collections yet (such as Louboutin, Olympia, Vivier, Casadei, Brian Atwood) plus, Giuseppe Zanotti isn’t in there yet. I didn’t look at the picks by senior market editor Marina Larroudé until after making my choices : ). So here they are, what do you think? (in random order)

I can’t remember who wrote about these Vivier heels during PFW; it’s available in a beautiful deep purple too. The Dior heels look much better on the foot than in this photo. I’m surprised Jil Sander’s collection wasn’t on the list, this shoe collection is amazing! I listed two designs by Kirkwood, I love the direction he’s taking and these are both statement shoes (I mean look at that embroidery!). Which are you favorite?

Katy Perry wore Charlotte Olympia Avalon platform sandals to a pre-inaugural event for the Indian Premier League in India. These heels are from the Spring 2012 collection and available in palm print at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus. At this point, we don’t expect anything less from Katy – remember her Kid’s Choice Awards slime outfit, Smurf premiere outfit - she embraces each event from head-to-toe. Check out more shoes spotted on Katy.

Charlotte Olympia Meredith Platform Wedge

These heels are from Olympia’s adorable Spring 2012 ‘Siren’ collection featuring emerald and cream leaf printed canvas, flamingo pink ankle strap and gathered bow detail on the front.

This season, Charlotte was inspired by “Miami in the movies” and Fifties beach glamour. The wedges also feature the signature gold spider web logo and this season they also include a sticky Polaroid picture of the shoes (so you can find it easily in your closet!).

Ashley Olsen is featured in the April 2012 issue of Elle UK wearing Charlotte Olympia Carmen ostrich velvet wedges. The velvet style is no longer available online however, there’s an espadrille version at Neiman Marcus & Net-A-Porter. I purchased & reviewed the velvet Carmen this past December and love them. Check out more shoes spotted on Ashley. P.S. - Mary-Kate was wearing Alejandro Ingelmo.
