Jessie Cave, best known to millions as Lavender Brown from the Harry Potter films, has revealed she made a shockingly high amount of cash after launching a niche hair content account on OnlyFans.
And yes, the story is as weird as it sounds.
She said she started the account in March to get out of debt, give her family a better home, and reclaim some independence after years of financial pressure.

According to her Substack post, the goal was simple: pay off debts, repair the house, including a roof and removing toxic wallpaper, and prove skeptics wrong. What she didn’t expect was just how much traction her “hair stuff” would get.
Her OnlyFans isn’t about nudity. Jessie insists it’s “sensual hair content,” aimed at people with a hair fetish. Brushing long locks, gentle swishing, maybe a cozy bath, but no explicit nudity.
She laughs that she’s become a “Long Hair Specialist.” And apparently quite a successful one. In six months, she earned more than she ever would have from a reality show offer that fell through.

It isn’t all glamour. She says running the account feels exhausting, like being stuck on a treadmill she can’t escape. The pressure to keep producing content is real.
She admits that subscriber numbers now sometimes dictate her sense of self-worth. She’s had to fight off lurid messages, unsolicited requests, and the creeping shame that comes with ignoring her own discomfort simply to pay the next bill.
One especially bizarre moment: she tried pouring custard, yes, custard, over her hair hoping to please viewers. It bombed. She also attempted a moody, artsy photoshoot inspired by a famous painting, only to have a plant pot fall on her head.
She says she’s still trying to figure out what counts as “hair content” and how far she’s willing to go.

Worst of all, her OnlyFans venture has cost her more than friendships. It’s possibly cost her a career. She was reportedly turned away from a fan convention for Harry Potter because organisers said OnlyFans is “affiliated with porn.”
For someone who once embraced the magical world, that rejection hits extra hard.
Still, Jessie says she’s not bitter. If anything, she feels liberated.
She’s breaking all the rules a prim actress was once expected to follow, calling her leap into the unknown a statement: “I’m doing something weird and kinky. And why not?”
