Sale season is here!
Where to shop for designer shoes:
It’s hard to beat Neiman Marcus‘ selection of shoes both in-store & online… they offer the holiest of shoe grails for all footwear lovers. Plus, they always offer free shipping & returns and the best end-of-season sales. They’re the only retailer (besides their sister company, Bergdorf Goodman) to stock Tom Ford shoes online. Currently they also have a made-to-order Manolo Blahnik BB boutique:
Another iconic retailer, Saks Fifth Avenue offers shoppers free shipping using the code FREESHIP. They have several sales throughout the year including the Friends & Family and the end-of-season FINAL SALE with shoes up to 70% off! The Saks POV blog is one of the few retailer’s blogs which I really enjoy reading regularly because of the interesting content and unique photography.
Similarly to it’s sister company, Neiman Marcus, New York’s iconic Bergdorf Goodman carries an amazing selection of luxury shoes. Their expansive stock includes a rare collection of both Prada and Miu Miu. I also really appreciate the crisp website design and editorials featuring regular behind-the-scene sneak peeks.
I love Barneys amazing curated shoe selection! Think less “frou frou” and more wearable. They also carry an impressive stock of must-haves by Gianvito Rossi and Aquazzura. Plus, if you’re looking to snag a deal, check out their online clearance Warehouse.
LuisaViaRoma is an iconic luxury retailer out of Florence. Italians know shoes and LVR stocks special styles you can’t find anywhere else including speciality designs by Roger Vivier, signature funky DSquared2 shoes and the latest collection by Italian fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni.
I love and appreciate the FarFetch concept. They’re basically an online platform and e-store for smaller boutiques and retailers all over the globe. I’ve been able to snag unique styles (bags & clothing too) at low prices when compared to other retailers.
Shopbop is a trendy boutique carrying more daywear & wearable shoes recently expanding into a broader designer selection. I love this store and they carry my go-to brands. They offer FREE 3-day shipping and FREE returns, plus they’re also Amazon Prime eligible!
ShoeScribe is apart of the YOOX/Net-A-Porter family and one of my absolute favorites. It’s only shoes, lots & lots of the best shoes from big name to burgeoning designers. They also offer free shipping!
YOOX carries stock from previous seasons meaning often you can find styles you may have missed at retail (on discount too!). Sometimes even seasons later when I can’t forget about a specific shoe I’ve been able to find it. They offer free standard shipping via UPS.
The Outnet is another great online retailer where you can find a style you may have missed – and they’re usually discounted by 50%! The only downside is that the stock tends to sell out quick so don’t wait.
Moda Operandi launched as an exclusive pre-ordering service that allows shoppers to purchase your favorite looks as soon as they debut on the runway. They’re also now started an curated boutique section filled with the hottest shoes.
Few shopper know that shoe haven Zappos also has a “couture” luxury section filled with many designer brands like Alexander McQueen and Giuseppe Zanotti. I’ve been able to find my sizes available here whenever they’ve already sold out at other stores. They also offer free shipping on all domestic orders plus free returns.
Forward by Elyse Walker is a speciality boutique out of Los Angeles carrying a diverse selection of both casual and more formal designer pieces. They also have a great blog showing the buyers behind-the-scenes picks and upcoming collections.
Montaigne Market is probably the coolest boutique – J’adore their selection and this Parisian-based store carries the most impressive selection of Alaïa, Gianvito Rossi & more. Because of it’s popularity, sizes sell out quick.
Avenue32 is a luxury boutique based out of the UK. They popped up on my radar last year whenever I found out they carry a great selection of Jerome C. Rousseau shoes and several of my other favorite more hard-to-find designers. Their selection is super playful & colorful.
Stylebop is luxury fashion boutique from Germany with a giant selection and quick delivery. They have various sales throughout the season plus discounted ‘last piece’ & ‘further reductions’ sections.
Matches is a online retailer with a store based in London carrying many exclusive designs from your favorite British designers like Vivienne Westwood, Charlotte Olympia and more. They also offering free shipping to the US right now with the code USAFREE. I’ve snagged several items from their end-of-season sales and they have an impressive signature packaging like I really love.
