Stuart-Weitzman-Capsize-pump

Stuart Weitzman Capsize pump | 4″ heel | available online in pink patent at Shopbop, Nordstrom, Stuart Weitzman for $365

I wrote about the continuing of the cap-toe trend in January and these beautiful Capsize pumps from Stuart Weitzman’s Spring 2012 collection are a “seductive twist on the traditional Mary Jane”. They feature patent leather, metallic cap-toe and adjustable ankle-strap. Solange Knowles wore the green color at a recent shopping event held at Weitzman’s 5th Avenue store.

P.S. – How gorgeous does Natalia look in this campaign?!

Selena Gomez wore Stuart Weitzman white satin Vixen sandals to the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar party. These heels are from the Red Carpet collection and only available at the Stuart Weitzman Beverly Hills store. Selena looked absolutely amazing in this Dolce & Gabbana embellished dress! Check out more Stuart Weitzman heels recently featured in the SHOP section and more shoes spotted on Oscar evening.

Angelina-Jolie-Stuart-Weitzman-heels

Angelina Jolie wore Stuart Weitzman nude satin Maria peep-toe pumps to the “In The Land Of Blood And Honey” premiere at The 62nd Berlin International Film Festival. These heels are available online in black satin at Jildor. I really loved the red pump paired with the this Jenny Packham on the runway however I think it would have looked too much with the red carpet. Check out more shoes spotted on Angelina.

Miranda Lambert wore Stuart Weitzman crystal embellished Striptease sandals to the 2012 Grammy Awards. These heels are from the Spring 2012 collection and available online at Stuart Weitzman and with feather embellishment at Endless. Here’s another photo of Miranda’s heels. Michelle Trachtenberg has also been spotted wearing the Striptease in silver satin. Check out more shoes seen at the 2012 Grammys.

Stuart-Weitzman-Feather-Sandal

Stuart Weitzman Les Plumes satin & feather embellished sandal | 4″ heel | available online at Endless for $425

This strappy ankle sandal was originally released last year with fuchsia feathers for Olivia Palermo and the “Stuart Weitzman Young Hollywood Cares” Collection. It sold out very fast but now it’s back in a different color. The same design was featured in my Impressive Spring 2012 Shoes post (sans feathers). Michelle Trachtenberg was also just seen wearing the same style except with crystal embellishment.

I recently tried these on; they’re easy to walk in, look great on the foot & overall a stunning shoe.

Michelle Trachtenberg wore Stuart Weitzman Striptease crystal embellished sandals to the 2012 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala. Here’s a close-up photo of her shoes. If you’re a regular reader you know this style was featured in the Impressive Spring 2012 shoes post. I recently tried on the feather embellished version and I love this sandal. The Olivia (same design except with feathers & yes, named after Olivia Palermo) is available online at Endless and Bloomingdale’s The Striptease will be available on Stuart Weitzman’s web site in a couple weeks. Check out more heels spotted at the Art of Elysium Gala.

Here are the collections I was most impressed and disappointed with from Spring 2012:

The shoes pictured below are an example of what I’m talking about and thoughts are about the overall collection (not individual designs).

Dissapointed-Shoes-Spring-2012
Alejandro Ingelmo
It’s unfortunate because I love Ingelmo’s designs but the spring collection isn’t fresh enough & very similar to previous collections.

Balmain
Did they forget which season they were designing for?! There are so many heavy designs I won’t wear for spring.

Emilio Pucci
I’ve loved the shoes from previous collections but these spring shoes fall flat. She needed another stunning boot or colorful sandal.

Proenza Schouler
I’ve been growing distaste for their shoe collections for a couple seasons now & these designs determined another whole season of separation.

Charlotte Olympia for Victoria Beckham
Cats on a shoe; enough said.

Brian Atwood
Atwood’s moved away from the original Maniac pumps and is using new textures and crazy fun designs.

Burak Uyan
These strong designs have been getting a lot of attention and everyone was asking who made the fabulous heels seen on Cameron Diaz. Uyan’s spring shoes are impressive and even more eye-catching than the previous collections.

Chrissie Morris
The shoes in her Spring 2012 collection are brighter and simply more fun. There’s even a polka heel with red stingray.

Oscar de la Renta
I purchased my first ODLR shoe recently and can’t wait to buy more. You can tell he had a lot fun with this collection.

Stuart Weitzman
Weitzman’s shoe pictured above is the same design as this season’s Olivia but remade in beautiful bright colors. I want to see this heel on the red carpet!

Olivia Palermo was wearing the Stuart Weitzman Olivia navy satin sandal with fuchsia feathers at The DKNY Sunglass Soiree. Olivia co-designed this heel with Stuart for the “Stuart Weitzman Young Hollywood Cares” Collection. The Olivia will be available late August exclusively at Stuart Weitzman flagship boutiques nationwide and at Stuart Weitzman. Check out more Olivia Palermo shoe spottings.

Jessica Alba in Stuart Weitzman

Jessica Alba was spotted in Stuart Weitzman Strutting platform sandals while out in LA. These platform sandals are available online at Endless. I’m still amazed that Alba, Victoria Beckham & Kate Hudson can all rock 4 inch+ heels while pregnant and with the paparazzi in their face!
