Lupita Nyong’o in Prada Ankle-Strap Platform Sandals

Lupita Nyong’o wore Prada d’Orsay ankle-strap platform sandals to the 2014 Academy Awards. Here’s a closer look at her shoes. They’re from the Pre-Spring 2014 collection and custom dyed in blue satin to match her gown. You can find them in black suede & mirrored silver leather at Barneys and Saks Fifth Avenue.

After telling the press she tried on over 70 gowns and that her choice was a minimalistic with clean lines, I figured we would see her in Calvin Klein Collection. Lupita continued her red carpet reign and arrived wearing a custom Prada light blue silk georgette soleil v-cut gown which was the perfect award season “finale” gown.

Fred Leighton provided the jewels including a diamond head band, gold wrap cuff bracelet and diamond cluster earrings. She also finished her look with a warm pink rose lip and Prada satin clutch.
